Not much is going on over at onomatopedia.com. It may slowly morph into an onomatopeia-based sketch and photo site in the coming weeks. I'm just not sure at the moment.
However, there is something going on over at http://onomatopoetically.com. Something wonderful. Give it a listen. My favorite so far is kadingdingdingdingkerplombus.
And on a final note: hey look, it's number 12. I was going to try to make a boot-based pun there, but couldn't. Or boot I? (See, it just doesn't work.)

I haven't read the fine print too closely, so I'm not sure when the contest actually ends, but my boot is slowly hiking* it's way up the rankings over on the Dr Martens** site. Thank you for your votes***!

** please note the spelling of "freedom" in the name of the contest. Why didn't I think of that?
*** You can vote once a day. Unless you have several computers or one computer with different IPs, in which case you can vote once per day for each IP to which you have access. Not that I would suggest such a thing, but did you know some libraries have entire rooms full of computers****?
**** I'm not sure why I'm so enthusiastic about this contest, most of the time I wear Vans (though I trust none of you will mention this to the Doc Marten people).

May 31st (not this but next Saturday) will be the last day to order comics for a while--probably about a month, maybe a bit longer.

I will continue to post comics Monday through Saturday at unpredictable daily intervals, as is my custom.
